Soma
(Carisoprodol) has made it to the triad of medications used by hundreds of
millions of users for treating acute body pain. It is useful in treating body
pain arising from injuries, burns , cuts, excess physical activity and the
like.
Pain is an irritating sensation that can deteriorate our

drug if you are suffering from liver or kidney problems. Carisoprodol is
converted into various metabolites (like meprobamate which is pharmacologically
active), out of which only a little goes out with the urine. Metabolite

drug if you have a recent history of seizures.

What happens if I overdose?
Soma (carisoprodol) is subject to drug abuse and can be used
for non-therapeutic use. It is a scheduled substance that is listed in Schedule
IV of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).
Prolonged use or overdose of Soma can lead to dependence on
the medication which results in hypotension, respiratory depression, seizures,
hallucinations, blurry visions, muscular incoordination. In extreme cases, it
can also lead to coma and even death.
It is a constant reminder that pain medication is
not to be prescribed to patients with a long history of drug abuse and
addiction. The use of Soma with other illegal drugs and alcohol can cause
adverse effects on health and is strictly prohibited.
